Akron Fire Police Credit Union accepts membership of all First Responders and their immediate family members.
WHAT IS A "FIRST RESPONDER"?
Akron Fire Police Credit Union welcomes all "FIRST RESPONDERS" in Ohio. In addition to Firefighters, Police and Paramedics, the credit union has extended membership to "First Responders" and their immediate families.
Who are "First Responders"? They are those individuals who in the early stages of an incident are responsible for the protection and preservation of life, property, evidence and the environment, including emergency response providers as defined in Section 2 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 as well as emergency management, public health, clinical care, public works and other skilled support personnel that provide immediate support services during prevention, response and recovery operations.
First Responders are those special individuals who on a moments notice spring into action to serve and protect communities. Akron Firefighters Credit Union is here to serve these special people. Our products and services are designed around the needs of our members and we are proud to now include "First Responders" in our membership.
